Pet Travel. Made Easy.

Be The Change For Animals

I am excited to announce the launch of a new website today – Be The Change for Animals ( Inspired by BlogPaws and sponsored by This One Wild Life (@ThisOneWildLife) and GoPetFriendly (@GoPetFriendly), BtC4Animals will provide their readers with an opportunity to make the world a better place for animals. How cool is that?!

Why This Website?

With so many worthwhile animal causes to support, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and powerless. By banding together like-minded folks with a strong, collective voice, the goal of BtC4Animals is to ignite and accelerate the change we can make as individuals.

BtC4Animals will highlight one cause per week and provide information on how readers can help. Calls to action won’t require more than 15 minutes to complete and will typically involve actions like signing a petition or participating in a letter-writing campaign. Monetary contributions will not be solicited.

If You Have a Cause

Do you have a mission in mind? A course of action you want to champion? Submit it here! If selected, BtC4Animals will be your sounding board, your greatest cheerleader, and they will report your successes back to the community during your campaign.

If You Want to Support a Cause

Your role is simple and easy: Embrace the weekly call to action. Tweet about it, post it to Facebook, or write a blog post. Each act, each action, each person spreads the word and creates the tidal wave of public opinion needed to make a change. By following these simple steps, you can be the change that lifts our champions toward their goal!

On a Personal Note

Amy and I are delighted to be working on the BtC4Animals initiative with Kim Clune of This One Wild Life. Since we launched GoPetFriendly we have had the pleasure of meeting some fantastic people, and Kim is one of the best! Hashing through the inspirations and ideas for this new website with her has been a blast and we’re looking forward to our continued partnership in this adventure. Giving credit where it’s due, Kim is responsible for the beautiful design of the BtC4Animals website, and we think it looks terrific! Thanks so much Kim!!

Along the way we have also met some wonderful people who dedicate their hearts and souls to helping animals. It’s our hope that by highlighting their efforts on the BtC4Animals website in the coming weeks, months (and hopefully) years, that we might further their causes and help them in whatever small ways we can.
