Pet Travel. Made Easy.

Leaving Tucson

We left Tucson reluctantly.

Three days enjoying the hospitality and company of our friend, Edie Jarolim, and the hysterical Frankie, was a sweet treat.

Finally getting to meet Frankie – in person – was a highlight of our stay. He’s the funniest little guy, and it tickled me to watch his ears bounce as he trotted in Edie’s footsteps on our walks!

We enjoyed the desert landscape and happened to catch the cacti in bloom.

And we spent many hours chatting about … you guessed it … pet travel! From Edie’s forthcoming book on the subject to our plans for the future – we even found time to record an interview which will be appearing on Animal Cafe. (We’ll let you know when the interview becomes available!)

We nearly convinced Edie and Frankie to hop in and join us. :-)

Once again, Rod and I were reminded what a spectacular opportunity GoPetFriendly has afforded us. Spending time grilling out, enjoying a beverage, and laughing, laughing, laughing adds something to a friendship. Thanks so much for everything, Edie! We had a fabulous time.

  • Hi Y’all,

Sigh…My Human would love to trip with y’all…but it looks a little hot for my preferences.

My Human loves meeting all the people y’all meet on your travels. I think her favorites are the ones like Edie and Frankie who we already read.

    Y’all come by now,

What a great time! I just love the desert flowers and color of the entire landscape there.

  • Looks like fun! Nice that you got to visit with fellow bloggers Edie and Frankie. Those are pretty flowers too.

  • Looks like a great visit. Most dogs we know are pretty big, so I forget how little Frankie is. It’s a hoot to see him going for a walk. What a cutie!

It was a real treat having you! We sure did have a lot of laughs, and it was fun for me to spend time with Ty and Buster too.

And as it happens, I’m planning to air the interview next week and hope everyone will come by and chat. But I’ll post the details soon.

Looks like Tuscon was a blast! I can’t wait to see everyone again this summer at Blog Paws.

    • Unfortunately, I don’t think we’re going to make it to BlogPaws this year, Sarah. We’ll be working our way up the west coast and I don’t think we’ll be able to get all the way back to the east coat by August. We’ll miss seeing you and everyone else, but that’s one of the trade-offs of traveling in the RV.
