Hint: This state park offers views of  the Devil’s Head balancing rock and 404-foot Hickory Nut Falls – but it’s most famous feature is the 315-foot granite monolith, for which the park is named.

  • The person who guessed the correct location of my boy, Grandpa Sande, is from Peoria. I’ve lived in Peoria, went to college in Peoria, and much of my family is still in Peoria! In fact our dog, Grandpa Sande, is named after my Grandpa who lived most of his life and is buried in Peoria. Small World Rebecca J!
