A couple of weeks ago Zuke’s launched a social media campaign titled “Fuel the Love to Fuel the Cure,” which will help support The Dog and Cat Cancer Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to understanding, treating, and preventing canine and feline cancer. With six million dogs and almost as many cats diagnosed each year with cancer in the United States, nearly everyone knows someone who’s had a pet afflicted by this epidemic. The Fuel the Love campaign will help provide financial assistance to pet parents whose dogs and cats are battling cancer.
More than a decade ago a dog named Zuke inspired Patrick Meiering to start making healthy treats for active dogs, and the Zuke’s brand was born. Patrick wanted to do something special – make natural, nutritious and delicious treats in the USA, so people could give them to their pets without worry. When Patrick lost Zuke to cancer, the company helped found The Dog and Cat Cancer Fund and started donating a portion of all product sales to help others fighting the disease. Now they’re taking their generosity to the next level, and inviting you to join in the fun!
